Milla Saunders, Integrative Therapist
Milla Saunders
BA (Hons), PG Dip Psychosynthesis Counsellor, MBACP (Accredited)

I am an experienced integrative therapist and have worked with individuals for 24 years specialising in bereavement, depression, stress and anxiety, childhood issues and low self-esteem. I have also worked with couples for 12 years helping them with communication and intimacy issues as well as family conflict. I trained in Psychodynamic and Systemic therapies with Relate. Over my eight years working there and subsequently in my own practice I have supported couples through many challenges such as neuro-diversity, addiction and infidelity.
I am very flexible in my individual therapy practice once we have met to determine the issues you’d like to work through we can decide whether a short set of sessions or a longer term approach will work more effective. I recommend meeting face to face at least initially to get to know one another and decide the best way forward. However if you have far to travel or would then prefer to work online we can also work together remotely by Zoom or Teams.
I recommend a set of up to twelve couple sessions, meeting fortnightly for 90 minutes at a time to allow enough time in session for discussion and psycho-education. With fourteen days in between sessions a couple has time to practice the tools offered and can return with real time examples to talk through.
As an accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) I adhere to its guidelines and code of ethics including the requirement for 30 hour of continual professional development each year.
I am also a member of the HACP (Hampshire Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
